If the projector looks like the ones on this web page:

Then it is part of a series that GAF made in the 70's and is pretty much identical to the ones I modify for my CineMate and the Video WorkPrinter. If so, I can answer any questions you have about them.

Just today, a friend's grandmother gave me a box full of old cameras and camera equipment. Amongst them, I unearthed a GAF Anscomatic S/82 camera and a GAF Anscovision 88/Dual-Automatic projector. I can mostly figure out the camera except that it seems to have no focusing ring (?) and there is a lever/button on the top of the camera whose function is undetermined. And, of course, I have no manual.
The projector is a totally foreign object to me, and I have no idea how to work it at all, besides plugging it in and turning on the lamp and motor.
I was also gifted with Sears Super Eight Easi-Load Editor. It looks fairly simple, but I'd appreciate any help I could get.
If anyone has instruction manuals or other tips on any of these items, including when they were manufactured....I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!

Well, it's kind of difficult for me to try it out as i don't yet have any film back from processing. I have heard that I need to clean the "film path" and the "film gate" before I run any film through the projector...but what/where are these and how does one clean them (is there a special cleaner or can I use some household item?). Also, I need a new bulb, I believe either a DFP or DJA bulb, but I'm not sure where to buy one. That's besides the fact that I can't get the old bulb to come out. Is there a trick to it??
Hmmmmmm.....
